heat loss

Why have your loft insulated ?

Upto a quarter of your homes heat loss is throught your roof space, a simple way to reduce this loss is to have your loft insulated. If your loft is easy to access and has no damp or condensation problems, it should be straightforward to insulate.
Loft insulation is effective for at least 40 years.

Will i get help towards the cost ?

The current funding scheme is called ECO 3, the scheme started at the end of 2018 and should run until 2022. The scheme is designed to help homeowners / tenants access funding towards the cost of making thier homes more energy efficient. W Hughes & Son Ltd are fully accredited to install loft insulation throught the ECO scheme. One of our surveyors would need to carry out an inspection of your loft to check it meets the schemes criteria.
